Walking with God in the Desert
November 3rd - December 1st
Renowned teacher and historian Ray Vander Laan illuminates the historical, geographical, and cultural context of the Scriptures. Filmed on location throughout the Middle East, we will discover how the Israelites became totally dependent upon God; how during “desert” times in our lives today we can find that God is still close. We too can experience God’s amazing grace and provision!! Led by Glen and Donna Alexander
Triumphs and Tragedies
Pastors’ Class
We all experience highs and lows in our life and in our world. God's people and his word is full of examples of how He works through all these highs and lows. We will spend the following Sundays until December 8th in the Community Life Center (CLC) learning about some of these stories in 1 Kings and how they intersect with our own lives. If 1 Kings is not a book you have ever walked, though this is great way to learn something new and see God's wisdom at work.
A milestone is a meaningful, memorable moment in the lives of individuals and communities.
Milestones Ministry provides a faith milestone as a marker along life’s journey that says, “This is something important, and God is here, too.” This faith formation practice, for both home and congregation, helps all generations recognize God’s presence in our everyday lives. It is a time of community prayer and celebration over the family that is meeting this new milestone together.
