We believe that everyone has something unique to offer. We offer a variety of ministries and programs designed to help you grow in your faith and explore new possibilities.

Whether this is your first time here or you’ve been visiting us for years, our Welcome to Bethany event is a great way to learn more about Bethany and the Lutheran tradition. Our next Welcome to Bethany is on January 11th, directly after the 11 am service. You’ll have the opportunity to meet with Pastor Danner over lunch, and we provide childcare if you register in advance.

In His sweeping depiction of kingdom citizenship, Jesus utters some of the most familiar passages in all of Scripture. Most of us have only encountered the Sermon on the Mount in fragments, considering its subdivisions as complete teachings in their own right—a study on blessedness; a reflection on the Lord’s Prayer; a discussion of religious devotion, money, ambition, and relationships.
What if we navigated these three chapters in Matthew as they were originally heard? What if we read them as one cohesive, well-ordered message, intended to challenge us to think differently about what it means to be a follower of Jesus?
Dates: January 12/13 through March 9/10
Days, times, and locations:
Monday evenings in-person at 6:30 in the main sanctuary lobby (note the new time)
Monday evenings online at 7:00 through Zoom
Tuesday mornings in-person at 9:30 in the Community Life Center
Books can be purchased through Lifeway or Amazon

Join us for Bethany SERVE Day #2 as we spend the afternoon at the Marbridge Foundation, a residential community for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is a meaningful opportunity for Bethany members to share joy, friendship, and care through music, games, and personal connection.
Heart and Soul is a retreat held at Bethany for all high school youth. This event is completely FREE! Also, it includes transportation and food (Salt Lick, anyone ?!?). Come and join us as we go out in the community and do a variety of service projects that make a huge impact on those in need in the Austin area. This event is free to all high school youth to attend (mandatory participation for all confirmation students). We need adults/parents to help with this event as chaperones.

Get ready for a powerful weekend designed to reignite your faith, strengthen your walk with God, and build real brotherhood with other men who want to live boldly for Christ.
The B.I.G. D.O.G. Men’s Retreat (Believers in God • Disciples of God) is a call for men to step up, stand firm, and join together as we learn what it means to be B.I.G. D.O.G's in our faith walk with Jesus.

Start your day with prayer and community every Wednesday morning from 6:15–6:45 AM in the church lobby. Each week, we share a brief teaching to guide our time together. Afterward, we break into small groups to pray for one another, our church family, and the broader community. This is a wonderful opportunity to deepen your prayer life, no matter where you are in your faith journey. Don’t worry if you feel like you “aren’t good at praying”—we’re all learning and growing together! We look forward to praying with you.

We meet every week on Wednesdays at 7:00 am in the Lobby.
MANUP is a place for you to be known, heard, and loved without any judgment or shame. It’s a place to belong and build meaningful relationships with God and other men. The primary way we build community is through our Bible study groups that gather at the table for a weekly lesson, discussion, and application. Come join us for this new men’s experience at Bethany.

The prayer shawl ministry started in 2011. We are a group of women who meet every first and third Wednesday of the month at 1 pm in the lobby. We knit and crochet shawls to bless people who are having difficulties like illness, treatment, or loss of a loved one.

Come help create Lutheran World Relief Quilts! We meet on the first and third Thursday of each month at 10:00 am in the Chapel.

We would love for you to join us at the Bethany Book Club, which meets every second Thursday at 11am in the Worship Center Lobby.
Our gatherings include a friendly discussion of our latest book over a light lunch. Don't worry if you haven't read the book - everyone is welcome to participate in the conversation and enjoy the fellowship.

Join us in the lobby on the 3rd Thursday of each month at noon as we gather for a fun time of food, fellowship, and favorite games!
Every month will feature a different lunch theme—everyone brings something to share!
After we eat, we’ll take turns sharing our favorite games for everyone to enjoy.
Bring a friend and come ready for good food and great fun!
